Description:
SSARS 21 has made some sweeping changes that will enable a CPA to assist the client "prepare financial statements" that would NOT be considered a compilation (and not subject to peer review). This seminar will examine and explain the new guidance and all other recently-issued standards. The seminar is appropriate for new staff members in your firm as well as those not-so-new members who need a refresher regarding preparation, compilation, and review. The seminar will address the practical problems of providing quality engagements, accepting and terminating clients, and some of the major issues with independence. The participant will work many short application problems that involve a variety of practical situations that confront CPAs in public practice on a regular basis.
